stop feeding it mysis, only feed pellets for next 1-2 weeks and that shall get it to feed on pellets.

I am not too sure about cardinal fish.
Bannerfish should be easy as they are usually gluttons.

Fish cannot survive solely on mysis
So better to starve it now for few days rather than it die due to malnutrition later
Fish won't die if just starve for a few days...even weeks
b/w banner normally will acclimate soon, other type then difficult to say...

bro ray..i assume your cardinal is the banggai cardinal? mine even better..doesnt eat pellets at all..only newly hatched brine shrimp and latest
discovery yesterday night..eating live ants and mosquitoes..
bfbong : i guess you got to starve the fella a few days and solely concentrate on feeding pellets..i had a banner fish last time..just like a
rojak..anything also eat but for pellets i am feeding them spectrum pellets..give a try and see

I read somewhere that fishes can go without food for the maximum of 2 weeks, but we would have heartache looking at them not eating.. but as the other
guys said, its best you feed only on pellets for about 5 days and monitor if the bannerfish has any interest in pellets. I heard they can be coaxed
into eating pellets. As for the cardinals, it is difficult to get them to feed on pellets but not impossible, try the same method.
As every fish is unique, it also depends on their character/attitude. Some only insists on live food and nothing else..
Godd luck!
